This is more than a book—it’s a brotherhood.

My name is Derick, and I created Blessed Man Walking out of the same place I wrote my first book, When Dust Speaks—a place of pain, redemption, and real surrender. This isn’t just a title or a brand. It’s my story in motion. I’m a Christian author, spoken word poet, husband, and father—but more than anything, I’m a man learning to walk again, one grace-filled step at a time. My story isn’t perfect, but it’s proof that God still speaks through dust. And if He can speak through me, I believe He can speak to you too.

Blessed Man Walking is for men who are still becoming. It’s for the ones wrestling with identity, carrying the weight of fatherhood, or trying to rebuild after life fell apart. We don’t judge where you start. We walk with you. This movement is built around honest devotionals, a growing community, real conversations, and a podcast that’s on the way—not just to inspire, but to walk alongside you as God transforms you.
